Umlaut Industries LLC - .50 Caliber Multi-Ogive Bullet Seater
This bullet seater was custom designed to tighten the tolerances on large bullets for .50 caliber loading. Caliber loading such as the .50 Beowulf® die set by Lee and to seat lead tipped and conical bullets without malformation of the bullet.
The Multi-Ogive Bullet Seater was designed to seat the Remington 385gr CLHP and the Strong Arm Ballistics 600gr Jacketed or similar Lead tip bullets, but it works perfectly for seating the 335gr Rainier Flat or Hollow Point bullets as well, the 400gr Strong Arm Ballistics Jacketed Lead tip, and any other of the various bullets that are used for .50 caliber loading.
Installation is accomplished by unscrewing the bullet seater plug on the seater die and removing the existing seater plug, then sliding the new plug into the die and reinstalling the assembly into the die. A thin coat of gun oil helps to create a suction to keep the seater in the die initially. After use it will stay in without problems.
